Workspaces
Users can share settings and data with other users or groups using workspaces.
You can create and use workspaces for different purposes and teams in order to work more efficiently.
Users who are assigned to a workspace and administrators can use the workspace (administrators can use all workspaces).
To share settings, use workspaces in the following functions:

Storage

HULFT INTEGRATE (Projects, Connections, Data Formats, Variables, Schemas, Calendars)

HULFT TRANSFER (Receive Config, Send Config, Host Info)
-
API Projects
-
JOBS (File Event Jobs, REST API Jobs, Schedule Jobs, HULFT Transfer Jobs)
On the Workspaces page, you can create, edit, and delete workspaces.
To create, edit, and delete workspaces, select > SYSTEM > Workspaces in the navigation menu.

Points for settings
Administrators for workspaces, by granting access permissions to users and groups, can control which users can view or edit which workspaces.

To create, edit, and delete workspaces, the EditWorkspace or the WorkspaceAdminAccess permission is required.

To delete settings regarding workspaces that have been deleted or check what workspaces have been deleted, the EditWorkspace or the WorkspaceAdminAccess permission is required.

To view the list of workspaces, the ListWorkspace permission is required.

The log records containing the results of execution for jobs and scripts aren't separated by workspace.

The restricted characters of workspaces conform to the restricted characters of storage.

To create a workspace, select Create workspace on the Workspaces page and enter the settings.
This section explains the screen transitions from the Workspaces page and some points for setting workspaces.

Although the color of a workspace will change if you change the name of the workspace, you can't specify the color.
Workspaces
In the navigation menu, select > SYSTEM > Workspaces to open this page.
You can create, edit, and delete workspaces and view detailed information.

- (1) Create workspace

Creates a new workspace.
For the screen after transition, refer to Workspaces > Add New.
- (2) List of workspaces
-
Workspaces that have already been created are displayed in tabular form.
- (3) Action menu
-
Select this icon to perform operations for workspaces that have been created.
Selecting
shows the menu of operations below.
- Information
-
Displays detailed information about the selected workspace.
For the screen after transition, refer to Workspaces > Workspace name.
- Delete
-
Deletes the selected workspace.
On the Workspaces page, select Create workspace to open this page.
To create a workspace, enter the information in the fields. Users and groups can also be added later.
For the workspace creation method, refer to Create a workspace.

On the Workspaces page, select Information from the action menu in the list of settings to open this page.
You can view detailed information about the selected workspace.

- (1) Workspace name

In Workspace name, the name of the workspace is displayed.
- (2) Name

The name of the workspace is displayed.
- (3) Description
-
The description of the workspace is displayed.
- (4) Users
-
The users who belong to the workspace are displayed.
You can search for users using the search box.
- (5) Groups
-
The groups who belong to the workspace are displayed.
You can search for groups using the search box.
- (6) Author
-
The author of the workspace is displayed.
- (7) Last modifier
-
The person who last modified the workspace is displayed.
- (8) Created
-
The created date and time of the workspace is displayed.
- (9) Updated
-
The last updated date and time of the workspace is displayed.
- (10) Edit
-
Edits the workspace.
You can add and delete the users that are set for the workspace using this item.

- (11) Delete

Deletes the workspace.
When a workspace has been deleted
All users
Workspace (general)

Deleted workspaces aren't displayed in the workspace list.
DATA INTEGRATION

Users can't edit resources that belong to deleted workspaces.

For projects that belong to deleted workspaces, the following menu items are either not displayed or else are disabled:

Edit (Projects > project name page only)

Open project
-
Create new job
-

The following menu item isn't displayed on the Information page of resources that belong to deleted workspaces:

Edit

Users can't create a new variable with the same name as an existing variable that belongs to a deleted workspace.
Jobs
-
If a job refers to a project that belongs to a deleted workspace, the job is executed when triggered by an event, but the scripts aren't executed.
If the script is running, the cache may remain in the HULFT Integrate service. After the HULFT Integrate service is restarted, the script can no longer be executed.
Script configuration

When a user configures a connector, connections and data formats that belong to deleted workspaces aren't displayed in the list.

A connector refers to a connection or data format that belongs to a deleted workspace

A file-related connector refers to a file path that belongs to a deleted workspace

HULFT Transfer

Users can't create a new transfer host with the same name as an existing transfer host that belongs to a deleted workspace.

Even if the HULFT Transfer Receive configuration refers to a transfer host that belongs to a deleted workspace, the transfer job works.

Even if the HULFT Transfer Send configuration refers to a transfer host that belongs to a deleted workspace, the HULFT connector within the script works.
-
If File to receive in the HULFT Transfer Receive configuration or File to send in the HULFT Transfer Send configuration refers to a file path that belongs to a deleted workspace, the transfer function doesn't work.
Users with the WorkspaceAdminAccess permission
Workspace (general)

Users can display deleted workspaces in the list of workspaces at the top of the navigation menu or at the top of the list of settings.
DATA INTEGRATION

Users can delete resources that belong to deleted workspaces.
However, the user must have the edit permission for the resource in order to delete it.

Even if user has the WorkspaceAdminAccess permission for the deleted workspace, the deleted workspace isn't displayed in the field to select a workspace in order to create or edit a resource.
