Prepare a data format (for fixed-length format)
To read fixed-length format or variable-length format files, you need to prepare data format resources and then define the formats in Designer.
As data format resources, you can also create the Data Check Condition Definition Settings. The resources are used to check data according to the specified conditions.
Description
This scenario describes the procedure to create a data format resource used to read fixed-length format files that are made of records of a single format.
Procedures

Select
> HULFT INTEGRATE > Data Formats. -
On the Data Formats page, select Add New.

In step Type on the Data Formats > Add New page, enter Fixed-Length Read in the search box.
= Remarks =You can select a connector from the connector list to narrow down resource types.

From the Type list, select Fixed-Length Read Format Definition, and then select Next.

In step General, set the fields related to the data format resource as shown below, and then select Next.

= Remarks =The fixed-length read format is specified in the Read Fixed-Length File operation in Designer.

In step Summary, confirm that the settings are correct, and then select Finish.
