Installing DataMagic Desktop
To perform an update installation of DataMagic Desktop, see Installing DataMagic Desktop.
When you perform the task described in Installation procedure of DataMagic Desktop, select the following option:

(4) Select the installation type: Update installation
Note
- For details about how to perform an update installation in a cluster environment, see Cautionary notes on installing DataMagic in a cluster environment.
- The amount of free space required to upgrade to the new version is equal to the size of the existing instance of DataMagic. Before upgrading DataMagic, check the status of partitions by viewing the disk properties.
