Procedures for Migration of Type of Use

For customers who purchased the Product before March 31, 2020, the type of use will be Internal Use unless a special agreement is concluded in advance. In order to use the Product under Use for Group Companies or Service Use, the following procedures for migration of type of use must be implemented.

However, for HDC-EDI and some other Products, only Internal Use may be applied.

How to Apply

For customers who purchased the Product before March 31, 2020 and is using the Product under Use for Group Companies or Service Use as of March 31, 2020 need to fill out the necessary information on the application specified by Saison Information Systems and submit the application to Saison Information System within the application period. If approval is obtained from Saison Information Systems, the Product may be used under the type of use (Use for Group Companies or Service Use) after the migration.

If Saison Information Systems approves, a Memorandum for Change of Purpose of Use will be sent, so the customer must return the document after signing/ affixing a seal.

(1) How to Apply for Use for Group Companies
  • The customer must fill in the following information on the Application for Change of Use for Group Companies and Service Use and submit it to Saison Information Systems.
    • (1) Serial number
    • (2) Product Name
    • (3) Official name of Group Company
    • (4) Other matters specified by Saison Information Systems
  • There may be cases where submission of information and documents which prove the relationship between the customer and the Group Company may be requested separately.
  • When Saison Information Systems approves, a notice stating that Use for Group Companies has been approved will be sent to the customer.
(2) How to Apply for Service Use
  • The customer must fill in the following information on the Application for Change of Use for Group Companies and Service Use and submit it to Saison Information Systems.
    • (1) Serial Number
    • (2) Product name
    • (3) Name and summary of Service
    • (4) Official name of Service User
    • (5) Other matters specified by Saison Information Systems
  • There may be cases where submission of information and documents regarding details of the customer’s Service may be requested separately.
  • When Saison Information Systems approves, a notice stating that Service Use has been approved will be sent to the customer.

Application Period

From May 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021 (one-year period)

  • * After the application period, you will not be able to change the type of use, and for Products which the migration procedures were not taken can only be used as Internal Use. After the close of the application period, you will not be able to use the Product for Use for Group Companies or Service Use with a license that has not been migrated. In this case, please note that you will be required to purchase a new license to use for Use for Group Companies or Service Use.

Cost of Renewing the Technical Support Agreement

As a result of this application procedure, if the license price of the Product is changed, the technical support fee will be changed accordingly, and the revised technical support fee will apply from the renewal of the technical support agreement on or after April 1, 2021.

Replacement of Products due to System Renewal after Migration of Type of Use

If our Product needs to be replaced on or after April 1, 2021 due to a hardware OS renewal or equivalent renewal by the customer (e.g. changing to a cloud environment, etc.), a price difference between the new price and the current price may occur*.
