Saison Technology Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Makoto Hayama, President & CEO; hereinafter "Saison Technology") has updated its Japanese iPaaS (cloud-based data integration platform) "HULFT Square" (No. 2024.1). The application functionality has been enhanced to enable customers to quickly respond to their system needs by adding various extensions as needed without having to wait for updates to HULFT Square itself. In addition to last year's sales in North America and Europe, HULFT Square will also begin full-scale sales in the ASEAN region.

Background

In the past, ETL workflows used in actual business operations required a large number of script icons to be lined up on a canvas, compiled, built, and registered as services, which took a considerable amount of time to execute. Therefore, reusability of workflows and scripts has been required.

HULFT Square packages workflows and scripts into a single application that can be used as a template with greater portability.

It will be available in "App Square" within HULFT Square and can be shared within the customer's company. In the future, we plan to add various features regardless of when HULFT Square is updated, and we are also considering implementing a marketplace-like feature that will allow customers to share their own content.

‹SFTP Service›

The SFTP server can now be used on the HULFT Square platform, installed in the customer's environment from App Square, and allocated CPU and memory from within the contracted resources for execution.

*SFTP service requires a separate option contract.

By using the SFTP service, customers can receive file transfers to HULFT Square from external parties via SFTP communication. Since the received files are stored in HULFT Square storage, script execution triggered by file reception can also be performed using file event jobs.

The SFTP service will be provided as a "native application" running as a service on the HULFT Square platform. In addition to the HULFT Integrate script templates, a variety of services will be released in the future.

‹Extended trigger conditions›

In the application function that allows customers to distribute their scripts as easily reusable templates, in addition to the existing scheduled jobs, the creation of trigger conditions such as file event jobs and REST API jobs is now supported. In addition, the creation of applications that can be executed by combining multiple trigger conditions is now supported.

*Support for multiple trigger conditions for REST API jobs is planned for a future release.

With this update, for example, occasional processing triggered by file event jobs and batch processing triggered by scheduled jobs can be distributed as a single application template, enabling a wider range of operational efficiencies.
