Set an execution schedule for a script

This section explains how to set an execution schedule for a script at a specified time everyday.

Description

In this scenario, set a scheduled execution for a script that you created in Create a script that processes a CSV file. To check whether the script is executed successfully or not right away, set the time to execute the script to 15 minutes later, for example.

Take the following steps in order to create the job.

Procedures

(1) Create a job

  1. Select > JOBS > Schedule Jobs.

  2. On the Schedule Jobs page, select Add.

  3. In step General on the Schedule Jobs > Add New page, set the name of a schedule and a recurrence period as shown below, and then select Next.

  4. In step Recurrence, set the time to execute the script, the period for recurrence, and the time zone as shown below, and then select Next.

    Set the time to 15 minutes later, for example.

  5. In step Holidays, set a calender depending on your location and the behavior of script executions for holidays as shown below, and then select Next.

  6. In step Project, set the name and version of the project and the name of the script that you created in the scenario Create a script that processes a CSV file as shown below, and then select Next.

  7. In step Service to run scripts, set the HULFT Integrate service to use as shown below, and then select Next.

  8. In step Summary, confirm that the settings are correct, and then select Finish.

(2) Turn on the job

On the Schedule Jobs page, check that the sign at the beginning of the row of the job you added is . If not, select the job and select > Turn on job to enable the job to be executed.

Then wait until the job is executed.

(3) Check the log

  1. After the job was executed, select > JOB EVENTS > Schedule Jobs.

  2. On the Schedule Jobs page, check the status of the job and the execution history.

    By selecting a job and then selecting > Detail, you can view the script execution log.

(4) Turn off the job

If the job is no longer required, on the > JOBS > Schedule Jobs page, select the job and select > Turn off job to disable the job. Check that Status is .
