Copy

To copy a record of the Multi Format Information, open the record of the Multi Format Information at the copy destination, read the contents of the original record of the Multi Format Information, and save the record.

The procedure for copying a record of the Multi Format Information is as follows:

1. Display the Multi Format Information Update screen at the copy destination.

When you copy the record of Multi Format Information to a new multi format ID

Display the Multi Format Information Update screen for the new multi format ID.

When you copy the record of Multi Format Information to an existing multi format ID

Display the Multi Format Information Update screen for the existing multi format ID.

2. Read the contents of the original record of the Multi Format Information.

Enter 'COPY Original multi format ID' on the following screen and press the Enter key:

The contents of the Multi Format Information record for the specified multi format ID are read.

3. Enter 'SAVE' for the COMMAND on the screen in step 2. and press the Enter key.

The record of the Multi Format Information at the copy destination is overwritten and saved with the contents of the original multi format ID that you specified.

Note

To cancel copying of the record of the Multi Format Information and return to the previous screen, after you enter 'SAVE' for the COMMAND, press PF3 before you press the Enter key.
