Preparation for the communication test

This chapter explains the procedure for carrying out a basic operations test on the local machine, in order to determine whether or not HULFT installation ended successfully.

Use the communication test mainly to confirm the details of the following:

1. Registration of the management information on the HULFT Management Console

2. Confirmation of transfer on the HULFT Management Console

   • Send File (file transfer started from the sending side)

   • Confirmation of the log records (file transfer started from the sending side)

   • Send Request (file transfer started from the receiving side)

   • Confirmation of the log records (file transfer started from the receiving side)

3. Confirmation of transfer using batch utilities

   • Send File (file transfer started from the sending side)

   • Confirmation of the log records (file transfer started from the sending side)

   • Send Request (file transfer started from the receiving side)

   • Confirmation of the log records (file transfer started from the receiving side)

To avoid trouble after installation is complete, it is recommended that you carefully follow the operations explained in this chapter.
