Registration of the management information on the HULFT Management Console
To carry out file transfer in HULFT, register the same File ID on both the host on the sending side and the host on the receiving side. Specify an alphanumeric string within 50 bytes for the File ID. HULFT transfers files based on the management information associated with the specified File ID.
You must register the File ID on both the host on the sending side (the Send Management Information) and the host on the receiving side (the Receive Management Information) for each file.

Although you must also register the management information other than this File ID, such management information is also managed by ID. The minimum management information required for the host on the sending side and the host on the receiving side during file transfer is shown below. For details about the management information required for file transfer, refer to Administration Manual.

Host Information (Host Name of the host on the receiving side)
Transfer Group Information (Transfer Group ID)

The communication test involves file transfer on the same machine with the same HULFT, and requires registration of the following four types of information.
The registration order for each type of information and the IDs to be registered are shown below.

Registration of the Host Information (Local Host Name).................................'ZOS'

Registration of the Transfer Group Information (Transfer Group ID)....................'GRP01'

Registration of the Send Management Information (File ID).................................'LOOPTEST'

Registration of the Receive Management Information (Receive File ID)........'LOOPTEST'
Although the Local Host Name is 'ZOS' in this manual, you can modify this name to suit the environment in use.
