Password Check function

Unauthorized access can be prevented by requiring that users enter their user name and password in order to open the HULFT Management Console.

(1) File Name

The name of the Password Management file is 'huladmin.dat.' You cannot change this name. The Password Management file is stored in the path where the system file used by HULFT exists (HULPATH).

Note that the 'huladmin.dat' file should not be deleted since all the registration information will be lost by deleting this file.

(2) Method of setting

1. Register user names and passwords.

It is necessary to set the user names and the passwords of the users who are allowed to connect. Set these from the User Information Registration screen. Refer to Management Screen Security for details.

2. Enable the password function.

Specify '1 (On)' for Password Check in the System Environment Settings.

Refer to System Environment Settings list for details.

Note

When only password check is carried out, all permissions will be given irrespective of the registration contents.

(3) Startup of the HULFT Management Console

When you open the HULFT Management Console, a dialog box appears.

 

 

In this dialog box, enter the user name and password registered in (2) Method of setting. If an unauthorized user name or password is input, the HULFT Management Console is not displayed and input is requested again.
