Confirming the installation environment

Select an installation environment for HULFT.

Use the up arrow key and the down arrow key to move the cursor to the installation environment for HULFT, and then press the Space key. An asterisk (*) is displayed for the selected option. After selecting an option, press the TAB key to place the cursor on 'NEXT' and then press the Enter key.

 Please specify the environment on which you install HULFT.

 Select an environment on which you install HULFT from the options below.
 Move the cursor, and select an option with the spacebar key.

Select one of the following environments:

Non Clustering Environment

HULFT is installed in non clustering environment (by default).

Clustering Environment (ACTIVE node)

HULFT is installed in an environment that is operated as the ACTIVE node for a clustering environment.

When you install HULFT on the ACTIVE node, the execution module of HULFT and all environment setting files are installed.

Clustering Environment (STANDBY node)

HULFT is installed in an environment that is operated as the STANDBY node for a clustering environment.

Only the execution module of HULFT is installed.

If you select 'Non Clustering Environment' or 'Clustering Environment (ACTIVE node)'

For 'New Installation'

The screen for entering the path to store temporary files appears. Proceed to Entering the path to store temporary files.
For 'Update Installation'

The screen for selecting the HULFT Operation Language appears. Proceed to Selecting the HULFT Operation Language.

If you select 'Clustering Environment (STANDBY node)'

The screen for confirming the installation conditions appears. Proceed to Confirming the installation conditions.

When all of the following conditions are met, the screen for selecting the output method of the trace log appears. Proceed to Selection of the output method of the trace log.

An Update Installation is performed for HULFT version lower than 8.4.0
The setting value of Trace Output Mode (tlogmode) is not "0" in the System Environment Settings for HULFT before the update.

Note

When you install a new HULFT instance on the STANDBY node, also create the following paths on the STANDBY node, which are the paths that you specified for the installation of HULFT on the ACTIVE node.
