Entering the path to store temporary files

Specify the path to the directory in which temporary files created by HULFT are stored as an alphanumeric string within 200 bytes. The following default value is set:

  • The value of HULFT environment settings file storage directory (HULPATH) that you specify for the installation directory

    ("/etc" is removed from the end of HULPATH if it exists)

 

The directory that you specify for the path to store temporary files is used as the default value for the following field in the System Environment Settings:

  • Work File Generation Path

 

Press the TAB key to place the cursor on the input position of the Temporary File Storage Path, and enter the directory path. After entering it, press the TAB key to place the cursor on 'NEXT' and then press the Enter key.

 Please specify the Temporary File Storage Path.

 Enter the directory path where temporary files are stored.
 When you install HULFT in a clustering environment, specify the path in local
 disk.

Note

When you run multiple instances of HULFT at the same time, specify the path to store temporary files for each instance of HULFT so that the path is different from the setting of Work File Generation Path for other instances of HULFT.

If you select 'Clustering Environment (ACTIVE node)'

The screen for specifying the path to generate the pid file appears. Proceed to Specifying the path to generate the pid file.

If you select 'Non Clustering Environment'

The screen for specifying the local host name appears. Proceed to Entering a local host name.
