Procedure for migrating from HULFT Script to DataSpider Servista
When you migrate from HULFT Script to DataSpider Servista, there are restrictions on the versions of DataSpider Servista that can be migration targets, depending on the version of HULFT Script.

2. Stop HULFT Script Server.
Refer to the following for the procedure to stop HULFT Script Server:

3. Back up HULFT Script information.
Use the copy function of your operating system to copy information to the backup path according to the following procedure:
4. Uninstall HULFT Script.
Refer to Uninstallation for the procedure to uninstall HULFT Script.
5. Install DataSpider Servista.
For the procedure to install DataSpider Servista, refer to DataSpider Servista Install Guide included with DataSpider Servista.
The setting of the following when you install DataSpider Server must be the same as for HULFT Script at the migration source:

Administrator's password

Connection information (HULFT Script Server host name, IP address, and port number)

HULFT installation destination (installation directory and HULPATH directory)
On the Repository Database Settings dialog box, select the Do not use repository.
6. Migrate HULFT Script settings to DataSpider Servista.
There are two types of files to be migrated: system settings files and user data files.
Migrate the settings in the files in the backup path that you created in step 3. to DataSpider Servista.
If you have not changed the settings in the files for HULFT Script that are to be migrated and have left the default values as they were, you do not need to migrate the files.

System settings files (/etc, /home)
The system uses these files. You must migrate these files.

These files are prepared for the DataSpider Servista system. If you have changed any settings for these files from their default values, add the modified values to the applicable files in DataSpider Servista.

NoteDo not copy the files under $HULFTSCRIPT_HOME/Server/conf and overwrite the files with the same name at the destination.

User data files
User data files are files that the user created. Migrate these files as necessary.
7. Migrate other settings.
Migrate the following files and settings as necessary.

'cacerts' file
When importing certificates to JRE in HULFT Script, copy the 'cacerts' file in the backup path that you created in step 3. and overwrite the 'cacerts' file in DataSpider Servista.

Modified values in lax files
If you have made changes to the size (heap size) of the memory region or the standard output for HULFT Script in the startup settings file (*.lax) for each type of tool, migrate those modified values to the corresponding file with the same name in DataSpider Servista.
NoteDo not copy and overwrite the lax files.

Mount settings
8. Start the DataSpider Servista service.
Start the DataSpider Servista service. For details on starting DataSpiderServer, refer to DataSpider Servista Install Guide included with DataSpider Servista.
9. Start DataSpider Studio.
Start DataSpider Studio or DataSpider Studio for Web.
If you will use DataSpider Studio for Web, delete the Web browser cache (temporary Internet files) before starting DataSpider Studio for Web.
