Installation Type and workflow

The procedure for the installation of HULFT Manager varies depending on the installation route and the Installation Type.

This section shows the procedure for each Installation Type for different installation routes, and also whether each step of the procedure is required or not.

When the installation route is express installation

The table below shows the procedure for express installation.

You can complete the following installation steps by following the instructions on screens of the setup program.

*1	:	This step is required for Product Key Update only when the host on which you started the setup program already has HULFT Manager installed with the same version, level and revision number as HULFT Manager on the setup module.
*2	:	This step is required only for the Product version (Fixed Term License) of HULFT Manager.
*3	:	If HULFT Manager is already installed in the installation location, the existing environment will be overwritten. In this case, the settings of the existing environment, such as the Registration Name, will be carried over to the new installation. If HULFT Manager is not installed in the installation folder, the installation method will differ depending on whether the Registration Name of HULFT Manager is in use or not. If the Registration Name set by default is already in use in the system A message explaining that HULFT Manager is already installed will appear. Carry out custom installation. If the Registration Name set by default is not in use in the system New Installation of HULFT Manager will be carried out as an express installation with the default settings. In addition, when HULFT Manager is already installed in the installation location, the installation method will differ as indicated below. If the Registration Name of HULFT Manager already installed in the installation location is the same as the default Registration Name Update Installation of HULFT Manager will be carried out as an express installation with the default Registration Name. If the Registration Name of HULFT Manager already installed in the installation location is different from the default Registration Name, but the default Registration Name is in use in the system A message explaining that HULFT Manager is already installed will appear. Carry out custom installation. If the Registration Name set by default is not in use in the system Update Installation of HULFT Manager will be carried out as an express installation with the default settings.

When the installation route is custom installation

This step is required for Product Key Update only when the host on which you started the setup program already has HULFT Manager installed with the same version, level and revision number as HULFT Manager on the setup module.

This step is required only for the Product version (Fixed Term License) of HULFT Manager.
