Procedure for Silent Installation

1. Create the Installation Information file.

When you run the setup program in Create Installation Information File mode, the Installation Information file is created after completion of the installation.

For details on the creation of the file, refer to Creating an Installation Information file.

2. Edit the Installation Information file.

Edit the Installation Information file that you created, according to the host in which you are going to install the application using Silent Installation.

If you want to execute Silent Installation on multiple hosts, you need to prepare the Installation Information files for each host.

3. Execute the Silent Installation.

When you run the setup program in Execute Silent Installation mode, the system reads the required information for the installation from the Installation Information file. This allows you to install the application without on-screen operation.
