Creating an Installation Information file

To start the setup program in Create Installation Information File mode, run the following command.

Startup in Create Installation Information File mode

# pwd
/usr/local/HULFT/insttmp
# ./installer -r

Explanation of the parameters

-r

This parameter enables the Create Installation Information File mode.

Specifying the parameter creates the Installation Information file named 'installinfo.txt' and stores the file in the directory where you run the setup program.

If the file with the same name already exists, it will be replaced.

The procedure is the same as that of interactive installation, except for the creation of the Installation Information file after completing the installation. For details, refer to Interactive installation.

The screen for confirming the installation conditions shows the absolute path to the Installation Information file. Scroll through the screen and confirm that the file is shown.
