Specification of information to be output to logs
You can specify the information that you want to output to the trace log and syslog.
You can use the following methods:

Reducing the information that is output to the logs

Specifying the output version of the common header area
Reducing the information that is output to the logs
The information that is output to the logs contains the common header area and the output message area. You can specify whether to output all the information or only the common header area.
By outputting only the common header area, you can reduce the size of the log files.

Method of setting
Change the setting for Log Size Reduction Mode (logreduction) in the System Environment Settings.

Specifying the output version of the common header area
You can specify the format version of the common header area that is output to the logs.
The available versions of the common header area are the following:

V8.4 header

V8 header
-
V7 header
-
V6 header

When you specify V8.4 header, the output format for log records (messages) is the same between HULFT for Windows and HULFT for Linux/AIX.
Method of setting
Specify a value for Trace Output Version (tlogver) in the System Environment Settings.
