Utility Timeout (utlwait)

This field specifies the timeout for a response in seconds in the case where following utilities issue a request to a daemon of HULFT:

  • utlsend

  • utlrecv

  • utlscan

  • utlschange

  • utlkillsnd

  • utlalivecheck

  • utltriggerconf

Job Timeout (jobwtimeout)

This field specifies timeout for a job's ending in seconds.

The setting is valid for Pre-send Job, Successful Job on the receiving side where the Notification (JOBWAIT) is set to 'Successful Job Completion,' remote job, and the job started by the File Trigger function.

For other job execution, the system waits for job termination unlimitedly.

Log Rotation Record Count (logdelcount)

This field specifies the deletion timing by the number of log records when the Send Log, the Receive Log, or the Observe Log is automatically deleted.

When the number of log records in a log file exceeds the specified value, the log file is switched over to a new file.

When 0 is specified, switchover for the log is not carried out.

Status Display Selection (statusdisplay)

This field specifies the type of transfer status that is displayed in the 'Transfer Status List' on HULFT Management Console.

0:

Display only the Send status.

1:

Display the Send status and the Receive status.

HULFT Identifier (hulcharacter)

This field specifies the character string to identify HULFT that outputs the Operation Log or the Trace Log, when two or more HULFTs operate in the same environment.

Specifying 9 bytes or more is handled as an error, and the initial value (the string left blank) is applied.

Defaulting this field does not display anything.

HULFT Script Port No. (hsport)

This field specifies the port number used by DataSpider Servista.

Make sure this port number does not overlap with the number reserved by your operating system or the number used by other daemons of HULFT.

Note

Do not specify a value in an ephemeral port range that is reserved by operating system.

Trace Output Version (tlogver)

This field specifies the version of the log which keeps the status of the Send, the Receive, and the Observe operations.

Log Size Reduction Mode (logreduction)

Specify the method to reduce log size.

0:

Output full log

1:

Output only common headers

Trace Output File Size (tlogsize)

This field specifies the criterion for switchover of the Trace Output files in MB.

When the Trace Output file reaches the specified size, the backup is created.

The backup file is always overwritten by newly created file.

To name backup file, add extension '.bak' to the file name of the Trace Output file.

Trace Output File Name (tlogfile)

This field specifies the output file name when outputting the Trace Log.

Specify the name in an alphanumeric string within 256 bytes.

Output to Trace Logs (tracelog)

Specify whether to output a message to a trace log.

Set by message types, by specifying '0' or '1' in each digit place in a 3-digit field. The first, second and third digits from the left of the 3-digit field represent 'Information,' 'Warning,' and 'Error,' respectively.

1:

Output to trace log

With the above settings, messages at the levels Information and Error are output and those at the level Warning are not output to the trace log.

Output to System Logs (syslog)

Specify whether to output a message to a system log.

Set by message types, by specifying '0' or '1' in each digit place of a 3-digit field. The first, second and third digits from the left of the three-digit field represent 'Information,' 'Warning,' and 'Error,' respectively.

1:

Output to system log

With the above settings, messages at the levels "Information" and "Error" are output and those at the level "Warning" are not output to syslog.
