Management information registration

HULFT registers the same File ID (within 50 bytes) in the sending side and the receiving side and carries out file transfer based on management information related to that File ID.

One File ID should be registered for each file in the sending side (The Send Management Information) and in the receiving side (The Receive Management Information).

Sending side HULFT

Send Management Information (Send file ID)

Host Information (host name of receiving host)

Transfer Group Information (Transfer Group ID)

Receiving side HULFT

Receive Management Information (Receive file ID)

Host Information (host name of sending host)

Transfer Group Information (Transfer Group ID)

Because file transfer within the same HULFT on the same machine is carried out in this communication test, the following four types of information have to be registered:

• Host Information registration ……… HOST01

• Transfer group information registration .................... GRP01

• Send Management Information registration ............. LOOPTEST

• Receive Management Information registration ........ LOOPTEST

Now, register the information by using the System Configuration screen of HULFT Management screen.
