EBCDIC Code Set Conversion Template
When converting character code values between ASCII and EBCDIC, you can register user-defined conversion tables other than the default conversion tables supported by HULFT. This table is called the EBCDIC user table.
HULFT provides conversion template files for EBCDIC so that you can create an EBCDIC user table from one of them.
Based on the EBCDIC Code Set Conversion Template file, register an EBCDIC user table with HULFT.
Register the table as follows:

HULFT for Mainframe
Use the EBCDIC user table template JCL.

HULFT for IBMi
Use the EBCDIC User Table Expand command (UTLUCEXTD).

HULFT for Linux/AIX
Use the EBCDIC User Table Expand command (utlucextd).

HULFT for NonStop
Use the EBCDIC User Table Expand command (utlucextd).

Use the EBCDIC User Table Registration screen of HULFT Management Console.

Custom Character Conversion Template
HULFT provides Custom Character Table files as conversion template files for custom character codes (double byte codes). To create a custom character table, use the appropriate Custom Character Table file, which is a Custom Character Conversion Template file.
Based on the Custom Character Conversion Template file, register a custom character table with HULFT.
Register the table as follows:

HULFT for Mainframe
Use the External Character Table Expand program (XRECTBL).

HULFT for IBMi
Use the Custom Character Table Translate command (UTLGTFEXTD).

HULFT for Linux/AIX
Use the Custom Character Table Translate command (utlgtfextd).

HULFT for NonStop
Use the Custom Character Table Translate command (utlgtfextd).

HULFT for Windows
Use the Custom Character Table Registration screen of HULFT Management Console.
Alternatively, use the Custom Character Table Translate command (utlgtfextdV).
