Handling of other codes

The codes that are not included in the tables from Conversion from UTF-8 to EBCDIC kana to Conversion from UTF-8 to IBM kana, extended are converted as indicated in the table below.

DataMagic handles 0x00 as the end of the data. For details, see descriptions about handling of null characters in data, in DataMagic Operation Manual.

Note that the following codes etc. are converted as fullwidth characters if the field type is "N (Double-byte Graphic Characters)", "M (Variable-length Characters)", or "Character Data", because fullwidth characters are assigned to these codes:
