About the Trial Version

Available functions between trial version users and product version users are the same. Refer to Steps to Start Using This Service for Each Client Type, and configure the settings in the same way as the product version.

However, License Registration is not necessary while using the trial version. When you switch over to the product version, refer to License Registration.

Note

The trial version includes 10 licenses for Browser Transfer and 10 licenses for D-Client, but when you switch over to the product version, the number of licenses becomes 0.

If you want to continue to use Browser Transfer or D-Client after switching over to the product version, you must purchase and apply the licenses for each beforehand.

Note that the values set for 'Availability' for all Browser Transfer Groups or all sets of D-Client settings are automatically changed to 'Disable' in the following cases:

  • When the contractor license starts and the number of Browser Transfer licenses or D-Client licenses that are enabled at the same time is fewer than the number of the Browser Transfer Groups or the sets of D-Client settings for which 'Availability' was set to 'Enable' before switching over

  • When you are using the trial version and you register a contractor license whose start date is that same day or a date that has already passed

    • The values set for 'Availability' are changed immediately when you apply the contractor license.

  • When the trial version has expired and you have not registered a contractor license

    • The values set for 'Availability' are changed when the trial version expires.

Even after the values set for 'Availability' are automatically changed, you can perform the following actions to be able to use Browser Transfer or D-Client again:

  • Check the number of applied licenses. If you have valid licenses, you can return the values set for 'Availability' to 'Enable' for the number of valid licenses.

  • If you do not have valid licenses, purchase and apply the necessary licenses, and then you will be able to change the values set for 'Availability'.

The automatic change described above applies only when you use the trial version. If you have already switched over to the product version and then the Browser Transfer or D-Client licenses expire, the automatic change does not apply.

If you switch over to the product version while the Browser Transfer Groups with 'Enable' status for 'Availability' or the D-Client settings with 'Enable' status for 'Availability' remain, you need to purchase licenses for each function. Note this point.
