Restrictions
There are restrictions when using CLI as shown below.
-
The file size per transfer is up to 2GB.
-
A maximum of 20 transfers per minute (total number of transfer requests for 'Data Transfer API', 'Browser Transfer', and 'CLI') can be performed per contractor account.
If you exceed the limit, requests cannot be accepted for 10 minutes after exceeding the limit (blocking request period).
-
The check to determine whether the Receive file is identical to the Send file is executed only by comparing the file size of the Send file and the file size of the Receive file (A 'data verification' on the receiving side is not available).
-
The data encryption function is not available.
-
The data compression/decompression function is not available.
-
The Checkpoint Resend File function and the Checkpoint Resend Request function are not available.
-
The job execution function is not available.
-
The automatic re-execution/reconnection function is not available at the time of connecting or a network interruption.
-
The clustering function (failover, etc.) is not available.
-
Transfer types of HULFT other than the binary transfer are not supported.
-
The file transfer between CLIs is not supported.
-
CLI does not support the transfer of files on a network such as files on a file server.
-
CLI does not accept requests from HULFT on the remote machine. To transfer the file, use the PUT or GET method in CLI.
-
The file transfer with HULFT earlier than Ver.8.1 is not supported.
-
The Forced Strong Key mode is not supported.
-
For Framed Message Transfer Type, transfers are performed in 'Transfer Speed Priority mode'. Specify 'Transfer Speed Priority mode' in the System Environment Settings on the remote HULFT.
-
You cannot perform multiple transfers simultaneously with the same file.
-
CLI cannot be updated automatically. Update it manually.
-
If you intend to connect to HULFT8 for IBMi, do not use lowercase characters for Connection ID of CLI (connection.id), ID of CLI (cli.agent.id), and host name of CLI (cli.hostname) for the following reasons:
-
In HULFT8 for IBMi, you cannot use lowercase characters in the management information settings.
-
To connect CLI to HULFT, '<connection.id>' or '<connection.id>_<cli.agent.id>_<connection.id>' must be set for Host Name in the Host Information on HULFT.
