Settings of the Management Information

When you issue the send request to HULFT on the remote machine by using the GET method (send request), you must set the management information of HULFT on the remote machine.

For details on the settings of HULFT management information, refer to Operation Manual of HULFT.

 

(1) Host Information

You must specify the following fields.

  • Use an underscore (_) to separate each field.

    Confirm the contents of the CLI configuration file in advance.

  • In HULFT8 for IBMi, you cannot use lowercase characters in the management information settings.

    If you intend to connect to HULFT8 for IBMi, do not use lowercase characters for the following settings:

    • connection.id of CLI

    • cli.agent.id of CLI

    • cli.hostname of CLI

Example: When the CLI settings are 'connection.id=webconnect', 'cli.agent.id=demo' and 'cli.hostname=sender'

Setting Value: webconnect_demo_sender

Receive Port No.

Do not change the value from the default because this field is not used to communicate with CLI.

Request Acknowledge Port No.

Do not change the value from the default because this field is not used to communicate with CLI.

HULFT7 Comm. Mode

No (N)

Proxy Server Name

The host name of the remote machine on which Agent is running (The host name resolution is required.)

Proxy Port No.

The receiving port number of Agent on the remote machine

(2) Transfer Group Information

Register the transfer group information that includes the host registered in 'Host Information'.

(3) Send Management Information

Register the Send Management Information that includes the Transfer Group ID registered in 'Transfer Group Information'.
