Restrictions

There are restrictions when using Data Transfer Site as shown below.

  • The file size per transfer is up to 2GB.

  • The check to determine whether the Receive file is identical to the Send file is executed only by comparing the file size of the Send file and the file size of the Receive file (A 'data verification' on the receiving side is not available).

  • A maximum of 20 transfers per minute (total number of transfer requests for 'Data Transfer API', 'Browser Transfer', and 'CLI') can be performed per contractor account.

    If you exceed the limit, requests cannot be accepted for 10 minutes after exceeding the limit (blocking request period).

  • The data encryption function is not available.

  • The data compression/decompression function is not available.

  • The Checkpoint Resend File function and the Checkpoint Resend Request function are not available.

  • The job execution function is not available.

  • The automatic re-execution/reconnection function is not available at the time of connecting or a network interruption.

  • Transfer types of HULFT other than the binary transfer are not supported.

  • The file transfer between Data Transfer Sites is not supported.

  • The networked files are not supported for the file transfer.

  • The file transfer requested from HULFT are not supported. File Transfer must be executed from Data Transfer Site.

  • The file transfer with HULFT earlier than Ver.8.1 is not supported.

  • The Forced Strong Key mode is not supported.

  • When editing a 'Browser Transfer Group' on the Browser Transfer Settings screen, only the first 1,000 IDs can be displayed in Transfer Settings IDs.

  • For Framed Message Transfer Type, transfers are performed in 'Transfer Speed Priority mode'. Specify 'Transfer Speed Priority mode' in the System Environment Settings on the remote HULFT.

  • If you intend to connect Data Transfer Site to HULFT8 for IBMi, do not use lowercase characters for Connection ID on the Browser Transfer side and Agent ID on the Browser Transfer side for the following reasons:

    • In HULFT8 for IBMi, you cannot use lowercase characters in the management information settings.

    • To connect Data Transfer Site to HULFT, '<Connection ID on the Browser Transfer side>_<Agent ID on the Browser Transfer side>_HWC-BROWSER' or 'HWC-BROWSER' must be set for Host Name in the Host Information on HULFT. ('HWC-BROWSER' is the host name on the Browser Transfer side (fixed value).)
