Updating the product key

When you update the product key, log in to Manager as an administrator.

In the following cases, the Product key update screen appears when an administrator logs in to Manager.

  • The term of the license expired
  • The host name was changed

An administrator who changes the product key must have an administrative privilege for the application server on which HULFT IoT is installed.

1. Stop HULFT

Stop HULFT. For details about how to stop HULFT, see Stopping HULFT (in Windows) or Stopping HULFT (in Linux).

2. Display the operation screen of Manager

Display the operation screen of Manager.

3. Display the License screen

Select [License] on the operation screen of Manager. The License screen appears.

4. Display the Product Information screen

Select [Product Information] on the License screen. The Product Information screen appears.

5. Display Product Key Update screen

Click [Update] button on the Product Information screen. The Product Key Update screen appears.

6. Input the product information

Input the product information as follows:

Item name Description
Serial Specify the serial number of Manager by using numerals with a maximum of 13 bytes in length.
Product Key Specify the product key of Manager by using alphanumeric characters with a maximum of 25 bytes in length.
Term License Key * Specify the term license key of Manager by using alphanumeric characters with a maximum of 25 bytes in length.

A term license key is not necessary for a trial version.

7. Update the product key

Click [Update] button.

The product key of HULFT IoT and HULFT are updated. The target of the product key update is the HULFT that is bundled with the HULFT IoT. If there is HULFT that is installed by using the other than the product media of HULFT IoT in the application server, the product key of that HULFT will not be changed.

8. Start HULFT

Start HULFT. For details about how to start HULFT, see Starting HULFT (in Windows) or Starting HULFT (in Linux).
