Starting Agent (in Windows)

Start Agent by using Administrative Tools in Windows on the IoT equipment.

Perform the following procedure as a user who has administrative privileges:

1. On the IoT equipment, open [Administrative Tools] in Windows.

2. From the Administrative Tools window, open [Services].

3. In the list of services, right-click the service name that was specified when Agent was installed, and then in the pop-up menu, click [Start].

The default service name is "HULFT IoT Agent".

When Agent starts, activation (enabling the connection to Manager) is executed.

Note

  • If the lockdown.conf file contains nothing or only comments, Agent does not start.

  • If the .ignore file contains nothing or only comments, Agent does not start.
