    :

For the setting of Send Log Pool Size and Trace Log Pool Size, see Configuring the Agent environment settings.

When a log file to which Send Logs are output or a log file to which Trace Logs are output exceeds a certain size, Agent starts the generation management of the log file and accumulates logs until the total capacity reaches the size specified by the user. If the total capacity of generation-managed log files exceeds the upper limit specified by the user, Agent deletes the log file of the newest generation. Therefore, the oldest log that Agent keeps will not be removed.

    = Remarks =

If the total size of log files exceeds the limitation as a period of disconnection between Agent and Manager continues, Agent will delete the log file even if the data has not been sent to Manager yet.

    = Remarks =

If Agent fails to transmit Receive Logs to Manager, Agent does not receive the next file from Manager until Agent complete to transmit the Receive Logs. If a period of disconnection between Agent and Manager continues, the amount of Receive Logs does not increase, so you do not have to set the maximum value for the amount of Receive Logs.
