Restoring Agent (in Linux)

This section describes how to restore backup data to the Agent environment.

1. Stop Agent

Stop Agent.

For details about how to stop Agent, see Stopping Agent (in Linux).

2. Restore the installation directory of Agent

Use the backup data to overwrite the installation directory of Agent.

Example

Installation directory when Agent is installed by using the default settings:

/opt/hulftiot

3. Perform Updating Agent

By using an update module whose version is the same as Agent to be restored, perform Updating Agent.

4. Start Agent

Start Agent.
