Setting conditions for the deletion of logs

To set conditions when Manager deletes logs, you must log in to the operation screen of Manager as a user with the [ADMIN] role.

Set conditions for the deletion of logs as described below.

Conditions for deleting Transfer Logs, Receive Logs, Access Logs, and Trace Logs can be specified separately.

1. Displaying the operation screen of Manager

Display the operation screen of Manager.

2. Displaying the Truncate screen

  1. In the upper-right corner of the operation screen of Manager, click the button containing the user name.
  2. Click [System Settings].

  3. Click [Log] tab.

    The Truncate screen is displayed.

3. Setting conditions for the deletion of logs

  1. On the Truncate screen, if the button for the log for which you want to set deletion conditions is [Off], change it to [On].

  2. For [Truncation Mode], select [Date] or [Record count].
  3. For [Threshold], enter a number of days or lines that will be the standard after which log entries are deleted.

    The threshold value is counted based on the time that Manager has been running.

    Example:

    If the threshold is 30 days and the current date is January 31, logs recorded from January 2 onwards will be retained.

  4. Under [Threshold], click [Save].

Conditions for the deletion of logs that are set on the operation screen of Manager are applied immediately after the settings are saved.
