Double-byte numeric characters can be entered in the Numeric constant (integer) logic of Mapper

Phenomenon

Double-byte characters can inadvertently be entered and the value saved in the Numeric constant (integer) logic of Mapper.

If you execute the script in which a double-byte numeric character is entered, an error occurs in HULFT IoT Runtime and it cannot start.

Condition to reproduce

This phenomenon occurs when you follow the procedure below:

  1. Place a mapper icon on the script canvas.

  2. Select the Numeric constant (integer) logic icon and enter double-byte numeric characters on the mapping screen.

  3. Click [Finish] to save the value.
