Backup of PostgreSQL may fail when the user updates HULFT IoT Manager

Phenomenon

When the user updates HULFT IoT Manager, if the user encloses the PostgreSQL installation path in order to back up the PostgreSQL, the backup of PostgreSQL fails.

Affected versions

From Ver.1.3.0 to Ver.1.4.1

Version when it was corrected

Ver.1.5.0

HULFT IoT Manager

Condition to reproduce

This phenomenon occurs when all of the following conditions are met:

  • HULFT IoT Manager for Windows is used.

  • The version of HULFT IoT Manager to be updated is smaller than 1.3.0.

  • The PostgreSQL installation path is enclosed with double quotation marks.

Alternative workaround

Specify the PostgreSQL installation path without double quotation marks.

Status description

Even if the conditions described at the condition to reproduce are met, the PostgreSQL backup completes.
