If HULFT IoT Agent fails to establish a connection to HULFT at a start of file transfer, HULFT IoT Agent might not perform according to the "Connection retry count" that you set by using Operation Settings

Phenomenon

If HULFT IoT Agent fails to establish a connection to HULFT at a start of file transfer, HULFT IoT Agent might not perform according to the "Connection retry count" that you set by using Operation Settings.

The details of HULFT IoT Agent action are as follows:

  1. HULFT IoT Agent retries a connection establishment with times that you set by using "Connection retry count".

  2. Connection fails.

  3. #1 and #2 are repeated by the times that you set by using "Auto resend retry count".

    * If the "Auto resend retry count" is "0", it will be an error after HULFT IoT Agent retries connection establishment. This is a correct performance.

Condition to reproduce

The phenomenon occurs when all of the following conditions are met:

  • HULFT IoT Agent version is for Windows.

  • HULFT IoT Agent fails to connect HULFT by a network failure and so on at a start of file transfer.

  • The connection does not succeed within the times that you set by using a "Connection retry count".

Alternative workaround

None

Status description

If the conditions described at the condition to reproduce are met, HULFT IoT Agent will retry a connection establishment with the number that you set by using a "Connection retry count".
