Unavailable characters can be set to the user password by using the "Create User" API function

Phenomenon

By using the "Create User" API, unavailable characters (double-byte characters and control symbols etc.) can be set to a user password. However, by using the password, you cannot log in from the operation screen.

Condition to reproduce

This phenomenon occurs when you specify the characters other than the ASCII printable characters by using a "Create User" API function.

Alternative workaround

Specify the ASCII printable characters for the new password by using a "Change a user password" API function.

Status description

You cannot set the password by using the characters other than the ASCII printable characters.
