If the installation path includes a space, when you open a script from Designer using "Open explorer," the "My Documents" folder opens

Phenomenon

If the installation path includes a space, when you open a script on Explorer from Designer, the "My Documents" folder opens.

Condition to reproduce

This phenomenon occurs when you follow the procedure below:

  1. Install (deploy) EdgeStreaming to a path that includes a space.

  2. Select a script from Project Explorer of Designer and select "Open explorer" from the right-click menu.

Alternative workaround

Execute either of the following steps:

  • Install EdgeStreaming to a path that does not include a space.

  • Select a script from Project Explorer of Designer and select "Open terminal" from the right-click menu.

Even if an installation path includes a space, when you open a script on Explorer from Designer, the folder that the script is stored in opens.
