Import the settings of the HULFT management information for HULFT Application or HULFT Transfer Application

To transfer files using HULFT Application or HULFT Transfer Application, you need to set the HULFT management information in HULFT Square.

To use HULFT Application or HULFT Transfer Application with the same settings as HULFT, you can easily import the settings with HULFT Application or HULFT Transfer Application by installing the free add-on HULFT Application Migration or HULFT Transfer Migration.

  • This tutorial uses the HULFT Application Migration application with the transfer function of HULFT Application or uses the HULFT Transfer Migration application with the transfer function of HULFT Transfer Application. It can't be used with the transfer function of a HULFT Transfer service.

  • Only UTF-8 characters can be set in the management information.

Procedures

The operational steps are the same regardless of whether you are using HULFT Application or HULFT Transfer Application.

In the following operational steps, HULFT Application will be used as an example for explanation. Therefore, if you are using HULFT Transfer Application, read "HULFT Application" as "HULFT Transfer Application" in the menu names and other elements when performing operations.

(1) Preparation

  • Install the HULFT Application Migration application from App Square

  • Configure the HULFT Application policy

    Assign HULFTAppServiceFullAccess to the HULFT App service administrator.

  • Configure the policies for the management information of HULFT Application

    Assign the following permissions to the administrator of the HULFT Application management information:

    • HULFTAppReceiveConfigFullAccess

    • HULFTAppSendConfigFullAccess

    • HULFTAppHostInfoFullAccess

    • HULFTAppHostGroupInfoFullAccess

(2) Output the settings file in on-premises HULFT

This tutorial uses an example of importing a Receive configuration.

In the HULFT system in the on-premises environment, output the Receive configuration (Receive Management Information) settings using the Management Information Parameter File Generation command.

(3) Import the HULFT management information

  1. Select > APPLICATIONS > Installed > HULFT Application Migration.

  2. Select Profile on the HULFT Application Migration page.

    The following values are specified in this example:

    Field name

    Setting content (example)

    Receive Configs

    Choose a file

    Select Upload to upload the file.

    Resource label

    Select the checkbox for Use the same name as original config.

    Prefix (*1)

    Don't input anything.

    Root directory

    /Ateam/data

    Import policy (*2)

    Overwrite

    To add a prefix to the beginning of a file ID, enter it after clearing the checkbox for Use the same name as original config of Resource label.

    Specify the save method to use if imported settings already exist.

    Select Next.

  3. Confirm the contents and select I understand. Import of the settings is completed.

  4. With the same procedure, you can also import other management information.

(4) Use the imported HULFT management information

Register the Receive configurations in HULFT Square.
