Restricted characters
The following character restrictions apply:

For fields where you set or enter values, you can't use characters invalid for XML.
Invalid characters for XML are as follows. (Hexadecimal)

"0x00" through "0x08"

"0x0b"

"0x0c"

"0x0e" through "0x1f"

For the names of component icons, script variables, and environment variables, the following characters are also restricted in addition to those above.

If the following characters are used for the name of a component icon, that component can't be used for input data of Mapper. Moreover, the component variables of that component can't be used in Mapper.
