Observe Cancelation command

You can cancel the Observe processing.

(1) Observe Cancelation Command

F Job name of Observe program,CANCEL,S=service[,H=hostname]
                                   [,{FORCE|CLEAN|ABSTP}]

S=service

This parameter defines the name of the service for which you want to cancel the Observe processing. (Mandatory)

H=hostname

This parameter defines the name of the remote host for which the Observe processing is carried out. (Optional)

Defaulting this parameter cancels all the Observe processing for the service with the relevant service name.

FORCE|CLEAN|ABSTP

These parameters define methods for canceling the Observe processing on the connected remote host. (Optional)

FORCE:

Forcibly cancel the Observe processing.

CLEAN:

Forcibly cancel the connection-only Observe processing.

For the connection-only Observe processing, when you submit the Observe Processing Status Display command on the console, a question mark (?) appears for the service name and an IP address appears for the host name.

ABSTP:

Forcibly cancel the service task.

When you forcibly cancel the command, the remote host will not be notified of the cancelation.

When you default these parameters, the command notifies the remote host of the cancelation.
