Deletion

The procedure for deleting a record of the Format Information is as follows:

1. Display the Format Information Update screen for the format ID whose Format Information record you want to delete.

For details on how to display the screen, refer to Displaying the Format Information Update screen.

2. Enter 'DEL' for the COMMAND on the following screen and press the Enter key:

The record of the Format Information with the format ID that you specified is deleted and the previous screen appears.

Note

To cancel deletion of the record of the Format Information and return to the previous screen, after you enter 'DEL' for the COMMAND, press PF3 before you press the Enter key.
