Copy

To copy a record of the Format Information, open the record of the Format Information at the copy destination, read the contents of the original record of the Format Information, and save the record.

The procedure for copying a record of the Format Information is as follows:

1. Display the Format Information Update screen at the copy destination.

When you copy the record of the Format Information to a new format ID

Display the Format Information Update screen for the new format ID.

When you copy the record of the Format Information to an existing format ID

Display the Format Information Update screen for the existing format ID.

2. Read the contents of the original record of the Format Information.

Enter 'COPY Original format ID' on the following screen and press the Enter key:

3. Specify the place to copy the original record.

To copy the original record to the position below the field, enter 'A' on the left side of the field.

To copy the original record to the position above the field, enter 'B' on the left side of the field.

4. After entering the information, press the Enter key.

A record with the contents of the original format ID is inserted according to your entry.

5. Enter 'SAVE' for the COMMAND on the screen in step 2. and press the Enter key.

The record of the Format Information at the copy destination is overwritten and saved with the contents of the original format ID that you specified.

Note

To cancel copying of the record of the Format Information and return to the previous screen, press PF3 before you press the Enter key in step 4. .
