Cancelation of transfers

You can cancel a transfer on the Transfer Status List screen.

You can confirm the transfer status by checking what is displayed for the Status on the Transfer Status List screen.

You can cancel the transfer when the Status on the Transfer Status List screen is one of the following statuses:

  • Transferring

  • Connect

  • Standby

  • Auto Resend

  • Executing Job

  • Canceling

 

You can delete the transfer when the Status on the Transfer Status List screen is the following status:

  • Send Queue

 

The procedure for canceling the transfer and the procedure for deleting the transfer are as follows:

Cancelation of transfer

1. Display the Transfer Status List screen.

For details on how to display the screen, refer to Confirmation of the transfer status.

2. Enter 'C' in the input area on the left of the file ID for the transfer that you want to cancel, and then press the Enter key.

The transfer is canceled.

Note

When you cancel the Send processing, if an access error occurs because the Send file is under exclusive control, HULFT retries allocation. If you issue a cancelation request during a retry attempt for allocation, the Send Cancelation request will be ineffective. Therefore, HULFT starts the Send processing when allocation succeeds.

Deletion of transfer

1. Display the Transfer Status List screen.

For details on how to display the screen, refer to Confirmation of the transfer status.

2. Enter 'D' in the input area on the left of the file ID for the transfer that you want to delete, and then press the Enter key.

The transfer request is deleted.
