Updating the product key

You can update the Product Key in order to modify the product information for HULFT that is currently installed, or extend its usage period.

Update the Product Key in the following situations:

  • Modification of product configuration

    • Migration from the Product version (Fixed Term License) to the Product version

    • Modification of host name

    • Addition or removal of an optional product (HULFT Cipher Option)

  • Modification of usage period

    • Extension of usage period for the Product version (Fixed Term License)

= Remarks =

  • The product information refers to the basic information about HULFT, such as product type and installation destination host name.

  • The license information for optional products is included in HULFT product information. Therefore, if you update the Product Key to modify HULFT product information, the product information of optional products is also modified at the same time.

  • To confirm the usage period of the Product version (Fixed Term License), execute the Product Confirmation program (XRHULVER). The following information related to installed HULFT products is displayed:

    • Product type (LICENSE TYPE)

    • Start date (VALID SINCE)

    • Expiration date (EXPIRE ON)
