Program used in STEP3

In the JCL in STEP3, the following programs are used:

 

• Operating system utility (IDCAMS)

• System File Initialization program (XRCREATE)

• Log Record Count program (XRLOGCNT)

 

The JCL in STEP3 consists of the three job steps of the three programs listed above.

In each job step, creation of the system file, initialization, and addition of information on the log record count are carried out.

 

Even if you do not use the installation command, you can use the above programs as necessary.
