This chapter explains the procedure for upgrading the level of HULFT from a lower version to the latest version.

Points to note regarding the Level Upgrade are listed below:

• End HULFT before performing the Level Upgrade.

• Be sure to create backup files of HULFT before you carry out the Level Upgrade.

• Check if an EBCDIC user table is in use.

• The records in the Send Control file and any unsent records are cleared.
