Description:

Failed to open the Send and Receive Management file (HULFT.FILE).

Measures:

A failure has occurred in the Send and Receive Management file (HULFT.FILE). Refer to the VSAM detail code and take the appropriate measures.

* XRSNDRC * HOST CARD NOTHING

Description:

The destination host name is not defined on the definition card.

Measures:

The destination host name is a required parameter. Set this parameter correctly.

* XRSNDRC * HOST INF GET ERROR

Description:

Failed to read the Host Information.

Measures:

Check the Host Information.

* XRSNDRC * ISP OPEN FAILED RC=code

code:

Communication error code (Refer to Communication error code list.)

Description:

Failed to open TCPIP for MVS.

Measures:

TCPIP for MVS is not running. The TCPIP for MVS application name may not be defined, or there could be another cause. Take the appropriate measures for the communication error code, and try again.

* XRSNDRC * ISP CONN FAILED RC=code

code:

Communication error code (Refer to Communication error code list.)

Description:

Failed to connect to the remote host.

Measures:

The Observe function may not have started on the remote host, the Observe port number may be incorrect, or there could be another cause. Take the appropriate measures for the communication error code, and try again.

* XRSNDRC * ISP CONV FAILED RC=code

code:

Communication error code (Refer to Communication error code list.)

Description:

Failed to communicate with the remote host.

Measures:

The Observe function may have ended on the remote host, or there could be another cause. Take the appropriate measures for the communication error code, and try again.

* XRSNDRC * MESSAGE SEND SUCCESSFUL HOST=host

Description:

A message was sent to the applicable host.

* XRSNDRC * SNDRC ERROR RC=code

code:

Communication error code (Refer to Communication error code list.)

Description:

An error was returned from the remote host.

Measures:

Check the error on the remote host.

* XRSNDRC * ERROR-CODE LENGTH ERROR

Description:

The length of the status code on the XRCARD definition card exceeds 4 bytes.

Measures:

Check the length of the status code for the XRCARD definition card.

* XRSNDRC * HOST-NAME LENGTH ERROR

Description:

The length of the Host Name on the XRCARD definition card exceeds 50 bytes.

Measures:

Check the length of the Host Name for the XRCARD definition card.

* XRSNDRC * RECONNECT ON HULFT7 MODE

Description:

HULFT will reconnect in HULFT7 communication mode, because the version of HULFT on the Observe system side is HULFT7 or lower.

* XRSNDRC * PROTOCOL VERSION IS 8 OR OVER

Description:

Although the version of HULFT on the host on the Observe system side is HULFT Ver.8 or higher, the Use HULFT7 Comm. Mode is enabled.

* XRSNDRC * REQUESTS CANNOT BE ISSUED IN FORCED STRONG KEY MODE BECAUSE USE HULFT7 COMM.  MODE IS SET TO "Y"

Measures:

Disable the HULFT7 communication mode and reissue the request.

* XRSNDRC * FAILED TO COMMUNICATE IN FORCED STRONG KEY MODE

Description:

The Forced Strong Key mode is enabled, but because the remote host is lower than V8.4 or the Forced Strong Key mode is disabled on the remote host, communication failed.

Measure 1:

Check the version of the remote host.

Measure 2:

Check whether the Forced Strong Key mode is enabled on the remote host.
