Exclusive control by HULFT and user jobs

Exclusive control by HULFT and business applications functions as follows:

(1) Exclusive control of Send file

To obtain exclusive control of the Send file, dynamically define the Send file in the JCL for the Send File program (XRSNDGO).

When your own business application is using the Send file, HULFT waits for the Send file to be released before starting the processing of the file.

However, during execution of the JCL for the Send File program (XRSNDGO), HULFT obtains exclusive control of the Send file, and your business application waits for the Send file to be released.

(2) Exclusive control of Receive file

You cannot obtain exclusive control of the Receive file.

If your own business application is using the Receive file, the file transfer terminates unsuccessfully.
