Corrected "The Emperor's Birthday" in "Table 2.1 Default Holidays" |
The Holidays file (scholiday.dat) contains information on holidays. HULFT Scheduler controls whether to execute jobs on non-working days based on the information specified in the Holidays file.
The Holidays file contains the following holidays by default:
January 1 (New Year's Day) |
February 11 (National Foundation Day) |
February 23 (The Emperor's Birthday |
)April 29 (Showa Day) |
May 3 (Constitution Memorial Day) |
May 4 (Greenery Day) |
May 5 (Children's Day) |
August 11 (Mountain Day) |
November 3 (Culture Day) |
November 23 (Labor Thanksgiving Day) |
The Holidays file does not contain holidays whose dates change every year. When you want to set such a holiday as a non-working day, you need to specify the date of the holiday for a specific year.
The following table shows holidays that you need to set manually:
Coming-of-Age Day |
Second Monday of January |
Vernal Equinox Day |
|
Marine Day |
Third Monday of July |
Respect-for-the-Aged Day |
Third Monday of September |
Health and Sports Day |
Second Monday of October |
Autumnal Equinox Day |
|
You can specify holidays in Scheduler in the System Environment Settings.
For details, refer to How to configure System Environment Settings.
