Unable to use the HULFT Management Console because a prompt to enter a password appears at the startup of the HULFT Management Console

The Password Check or the Management Screen security function has been enabled.

Unable to use certain functions in the HULFT Management Console

Has the Management Screen security function been set?

If it has been set, consult with the system manager regarding the functions that you want to use.

An error occurs when you execute the Send File or the Resend File

Make sure that the Send process is started.

An error code is displayed together with the error message. Check the error code of the Send File command (utlsend.exe) based on the displayed code.

An error occurs when you execute the Send Request or the Resend Request

Confirm that the Observe process in the requested host is activated.

An error code is displayed together with the error message. Check the error code of the Send Request command (utlrecv.exe) based on the displayed code.

The Status Inquiry screens do not appear

Check that log files exist. The screen does not appear if there is no data to be displayed, and the following message appears in the status bar instead: 'Applicable information does not exist.'

Unable to register management information

Management information is saved as files in HULPATH. Check that you have permission to write to the folders and files in HULPATH.

Unable to open the Console Logs screen on the HULFT Management Console

Is the HULFT service started?

If not, start the service.
