Mail Interface Information

You can register information about the addressee of the messages that are sent after sending or receiving a file.

There are two ways to register the information.

(1) Field List

In the table below, the check marks in the Optional column indicate the fields considered optional during registration from the HULFT Management Console. Optional fields and mandatory fields for registration by running commands with parameter files may differ from those for registration using the HULFT Management Console.

For details on optional fields and mandatory fields for the registration by running commands with parameter files, refer to Management Information Batch Registration command.

(2) Explanation of each field

This section explains the fields to be specified in the Mail Interface Information. The parenthesized strings are the names of each field and you can use them as field tags in a parameter file when registering the information.

Mail Interface ID (MAIL)

ID that identifies the email to be sent after sending or receiving

Title (TITLE)

Title of the email

Address (DESTINATION)

Email address to which HULFT sends the email

Use commas (,) to separate addresses. Addresses are automatically separated by commas (,) when you specify them from Address Book.

CC (MULTICAST)

Email addresses to which HULFT sends copies of the email

Use commas (,) to separate addresses. Addresses are automatically separated by commas (,) when you specify them from Address Book.

Text (TEXT DEF to DEFEND)

Main text of email messages that are sent

If the environment variable name is included in the text, it is replaced according to replacement rules.

For the replacement rules, refer to Administration Manual.

Attachment File (ATTACHMENT)

Specify whether to use attachment files

When you specify attachment files on the screen, select this check box.

When you use parameter files, select either of the following options depending on whether or not you use attachment files:

Y:

Use attachment files

N:

Do not use attachment files

Omitting this field sets "N" (Do not use attachment files).

Attachment File (ATTACHMENTFILE)

Specify attachment files

You can specify whether to attach the sent or received files or any files.

The total size of the attachment files can be a maximum of 20KB.

When you specify attachment files on the screen, specify either of the following options:

Transfer File:

Attach the files that are sent or received

Fixed File:

Attach any file (Specify a file name within 256 bytes.)

If you use parameter files to specify any file, specify a file name within 256 bytes.

If you specify "N" (Do not use attachment files) for Attachment File (ATTACHMENT), the setting of Attachment File (ATTACHMENTFILE) is ignored.

(3) Points to be noted when setting

Attachment File

  • The email software may not display the file name appropriately if the name of the attachment file includes characters such as Japanese characters. Even if this is the case, the content of the file is not affected.

  • You cannot specify a file name in which the name of the network drive and/or the UNC is used for the attachment file.
