Forced termination of each process

If a process fails to end, for example due to an unstable operating system (OS), it is possible to forcibly terminate the process.

Note
  • The forced termination of processes may cause damage to the management information files, or prevent resources to be released. Additionally, objects may remain in the operating system. Therefore, forced termination should be avoided by all means.

  • The forced termination of processes also forcibly terminates the sending or the receiving, even if it is not complete yet.

Forcibly terminate each process using Process Controller on the HULFT Management Console.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Open the HULFT Management Console.

For details on how to open the HULFT Management Console, refer to Opening the HULFT Management Console.

  2. Click Tools > Process Controller.

    Process Controller starts.

    = Remarks =

The startup or termination status of a process is indicated by the color of the signal.

Green indicates that the service is started, yellow indicates that termination is in progress, and red indicates that the service is terminated.

  3. Click Kill Task of the process you intend to forcibly terminate. The system forcibly terminates the process and the signal turns to red.

Note

You can use the Scheduler only if the HULFT8 Server grade is installed.
